Dr. Steven Sauerberg is excited to be joining Dr. Gerald Simon as a primary care physician at Adult Medicine Physicians. Our doctors specialize in primary care for adults in the Chicago area. We offer extensive experience in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
Dr. Sauerberg graduated from Rush Medical College in 1977 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He became Board Certified in Family Medicine and remains certified by the American Board of Family Medicine today. He grew up and has lived his entire life in suburban Chicago. Dr. Sauerberg enjoys playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He began and headed the Family Medical Center of La Grange from 1985 through 2019. The practice started with just himself and eventually grew to a busy practice with six physicians.
He retired on December 1, 2019, but as expected he missed patient care and decided to start practicing again. This new endeavor will substantially benefit our practice and the residents of suburban Chicago by expanding our availability and knowledge of comprehensive adult medicine.
Dr. Sauerberg will be in the office starting May 2024. In a time when patients are finding it hard to find physicians, difficult to get appointments, and are being sent to urgent care, Dr. Simon, and Dr. Sauerberg feel that the time that Dr. Sauerberg can find to see patients can be a help to our community.
We look forward to serving you and your healthcare needs in a timely and capable manner.
