Dr. Gerald Simon

Dr. Gerald Simon is an Internal Medicine specialist in La Grange, Illinois. Dr. Simon is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine for adults over 65.

Dr. Simon personally cares for his patients when they are hospitalized; he does not work with hospitalists and practices traditional medicine. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School Of Medicine in 1982, and now has over 37 years of diverse experience. Dr. Simon has privileges Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Simon prides himself on caring for his patients with the utmost attention and compassion.





Jackie Celmer, Nurse Practitioner

Jackie Celmer is a Family Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Simon. As nurse practitioner, Jackie is certified and licensed to perform many functions a physician does, including diagnosing illnesses and prescribing medications.

She graduated with honors in 2001 from and has more than 18 years of experience in the field. Jackie has privileges at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.

Dr. Christopher Paul Brenner is a board-certified family physician with over three decades of experience. Dr. Brenner is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families, ensuring each patient receives personalized and compassionate care.

Education:
Dr. Brenner received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Seton Hall University in 1977 and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Chicago Medical School, followed by a residency in Family Practice at La Grange Memorial Hospital.

Professional Experience:
Dr. Brenner has extensive experience in primary care and geriatrics, with certification from the American Academy of Family Practice. He has also earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine.

Over his career, he has held various medical directorships, including at Associates in Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Inc., and Chateau Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Brenner has also been involved in medical advisory and reviewer roles, contributing to the community through La Grange Memorial Home Care and the Inpatient Utilization Department at La Grange Memorial Hospital.

Community Involvement:
Dr. Brenner is committed to serving his community. He has been involved in various volunteer activities, including serving on the Board of Directors at Hinsdale Physicians Healthcare and on the Peer Review Committee at La Grange and Hinsdale Hospitals. He has also volunteered at the La Grange Adult Primary Care Clinic for over 20 years.
